Q: How much can I earn?
It depends on play frequency, Trust Ladder tier, and Region. A daily-playing L1 Tier-1 user typically earns ~$0.10–0.30 USD-equivalent per day. L7 Tier-1 users earn ~$0.30–0.90 per day. Earnings are POP off-chain, redeemable to TON at L2+ above 10,000 POP.
Q: Is this gambling?
No. Gambling requires consideration (entry payment), chance (random outcome with no skill), and reward. CashPop entry cost is zero (ad view, no payment). Outcomes are coordination-driven, not random. The legal classification is promotional reward, similar to a brand's sponsored sweepstakes.
Q: What is the survival game actually about?
A Round shows a binary question. Pick the answer you think most other players will pick. If you're on the majority side, you survive. If you're on the minority, you're eliminated until next Round. There is no "right" answer — only the answer most people choose.
Q: How is the question chosen?
By a cryptographic seed combining DRAND (public randomness beacon) and TON-VRF. The seed indexes into a pre-published reservoir of ~100,000 questions. No one — including the team — can predict or manipulate which question appears.
Q: Can the team cheat by knowing what you voted?
No. Votes are cryptographic commits during the Commit phase; even the team server cannot read your vote until you Reveal it. The Commit / Reveal protocol is verifiable on TON.
Tokens
Q: Is $POP a security?
We have structured $POP to fall outside US securities law's Howey test by: (a) not running a pre-TGE token sale, (b) tokens being earned via consumption (ad views) rather than purchased as an investment, (c) governance utility post-TGE. That said, we cannot give legal advice. We geoblock the US to avoid contested classification.
Q: When can I claim $POP?
At TGE (Q1–Q2 2027). Your accumulated POP at the TGE snapshot date converts to $POP per the formula in Tokenomics → Distribution.
Q: Will $POP go up after TGE?
We make no price predictions. We've designed value-accrual mechanics (20% fee burn, stake-to-vote yield, in-app utility) but token price is determined by markets, not by the protocol.
Q: Why no pre-TGE token sale?
To avoid the dilution-and-dump pattern that has destroyed most GameFi tokens. Investor allocation is capped at 5% and they buy at-market post-TGE, not at pre-TGE seed valuation.
Identity
Q: Do I have to do KYC?
No. You can play at L0/L1 indefinitely without KYC. Only redemption above $5/week (L2 limit) requires climbing the ladder.
Q: Will you sell my identity data?
No, never. We store the minimum necessary, mostly hashed, and never sell, share, or rent identity data. Our KYC vendor (Sumsub) is contractually bound to the same. See Privacy.
Q: What is Founders Club?
A capped 10,000-member L7-verified early-adopter community with 3.0x rewards, TGE priority, and DAO governance bootstrap voting (2x weight for 6 months post-TGE).
Technical
Q: Is the code open source?
The Round Engine, WebApp, and (post-TGE) smart contracts are MIT-licensed. The full protocol stack will be self-hostable post-TGE. The internal AI pipeline, ad SDK integrations, and identity backend are not open-source for security reasons.
Q: Has the code been audited?
Pre-TGE: continuous internal review + external advisor review. TGE blocks on two clean external audits (target: Trail of Bits Q3 2026, OtterSec Q4 2026).
Q: What chain are you on?
TON. Phase 4 bridges to Mantle and Kaia.
Operations
Q: Who is behind CashPop?
The CashPop core team operates semi-pseudonymously through Phase 1; identity disclosure schedule per Team.
Q: Where is CashPop blocked?
United States and United Kingdom. Everywhere else accessible. See Geoblock Policy.
Q: How is the prize pool funded?
From real ad-network revenue (AdMob + Telegram Ads). 60% of net ad revenue goes to the prize pool. 40% is the protocol fee, of which 50% is burned ($POP), 37.5% goes to Treasury, 12.5% goes to stake yield (post-TGE).
Q: Why Telegram?
Telegram has 1B+ MAU, native Mini-App support, TON Connect wallet integration, and a viral architecture (channel + bot) that no other platform offers. It is the optimal substrate for a coordination game at planetary scale.
Risk
Q: Can I lose money?
No. Participation cost is zero. The worst case is you receive zero POP for time spent playing.
Q: What if the team disappears?
Smart contracts (post-TGE) are immutable. Vesting cannot be accelerated. DAO governance becomes operative within 6 months of TGE. The protocol is structurally durable even if the operating team withdraws.
Q: What if regulators come after CashPop?
We block US and UK preemptively for that reason. In other jurisdictions, we maintain conservative legal posture: no fiat payment processing, no KR/CN VASP registration, no "we are a financial product" marketing. Legal analysis is ongoing.
